If authorities never made progress in these investigations, it may help them to put out more information to the public, if possible. A lot of the time, someone in the community is able to connect the dots and come forward with new information. Seeing a runaway driver held accountable for leaving the scene is one thing. On top of that, though, there’s likely something that led them to flee in the first place that needs to be looked into. Are authorities continuing their efforts into resolving this matter?
