How Did This Accident Occur?

At this time of day, a hit-and-run raises familiar red flags for potential drunk driving. It’s an all too common reason drivers flee accident scenes, as they don’t want to get caught behind the wheel drunk. Of course, finding out if that happened here means finding the driver involved. One thing that could help is if any nearby homes or businesses at security cameras with a view of the road. They might have captured the accident or can show the vehicles coming and going from the area at the time of the accident. That video usually gets deleted after a set amount of time unless saved, so hopefully someone acts quickly to look for this potential evidence so they can publish images of the suspect vehicle and get more eyes on this.
