Accident Report

August 19, 2026, Linda Synowczynski and Stanley Synowczynski were killed due to a home explosion accident at 12:20 p.m. on Green Holly Drive.

From initial statements, it appears the incident happened at a home located about a mile north of the Holly Green Drive and College Parkway intersection.

Currently, authorities say that 76-year-old Linda Synowczynski and 75-year-old Stanley Synowczynski were in the home. Somehow, an explosion occurred. Linda Synowczynski ultimately died at the scene, reports said. As of August 28, reports say that Stanley Synowczynski also succumbed to fatal injuries.

While exact factors surrounding the accident remain unconfirmed, officials reported that a propane vendor may have refilled a propane tank “an hour before” the incident. Reports have also said that a propane line may have been cut sometime afterward. Additional details are unavailable as investigations continue.
