How Did This Accident Occur?

Police seem to be clear that one of the vehicles left its lane and caused this crash. How that happened, though, can vary quite a bit. I’ve seen crashes caused by simple, common factors like distracted driving or just plain impatience and reckless. I’ve also seen unusual factors, like medical conditions, vehicle defects, and hazardous road conditions lead to vehicles leaving their lane. The key is ensuring that investigations are thorough enough to at least rule out uncommon possible factors. Failing to do so could create issues down the road for victims and families, and it could even end up with responsibility falling where it shouldn’t have.
