Gregg County, TX — January 13, 2024, Leticia Peralta Camargo was injured following a single-vehicle accident at around 10:30 p.m. on F.M. 1252.

Authorities said that the crash took place in the area of F.M. 1252 and River Road, just north of Kilgore near Highway 42.

According to investigations, 22-year-old Leticia Peralta Camargo was in a Lexus traveling westbound along F.M. 1252. The vehicle apparently went off-road to the right, then veered back left across the roadway. There, the Lexus ran off-road and crashed into a utility pole.

Due to the accident, Peralta Camargo ended up with injuries described as serious. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. Currently, additional details about the crash remain unconfirmed pending further investigations.
