Accident Report

July 12, 2026, Leslie Muro was injured following a car accident which happened around 10:37 p.m. on US Highway 67.

According to preliminary statements, the accident happened along the northbound lanes of the highway near Wheatland Road.

It appears that 21-year-old Leslie Muro was in a Chevy Camaro going northbound along the highway. A Buick LaCrosse was going the same direction. The vehicles reportedly crossed paths and collided.

Due to the accident, Leslie Muro sustained serious injuries. The other driver apparently wasn’t injured. At this time, additional details are unavailable.

How Did This Accident Occur?

When vehicles going the same direction collide, it’s usually cause someone was on their phone, was going too fast, or changed lanes without checking to make sure the coast was clear. However, an investigation can’t just focus only on what’s common. Even less common factors need attention. For example, have authorities inspected the vehicles for potential defects? Brake failure, steering issues, faulty automatic driving features, defective tires—likely or not, these things happen, and they should at least be ruled out. In my experience, it’s a red flag if authorities don’t at least look for potential defects. It can be a sign they’re not really giving the crash the attention it needs. Hopefully this crash isn’t being brushed aside like that.
