March 9, 2026, Latosha Garrett lost her life in a pedestrian versus car accident just before 10:45 p.m. along Interstate Highway 35.

According to authorities, 48-year-old Latosha Garrett was on foot attempting to cross the northbound lanes of I-35 in the vicinity north of U.S. Highway 380 when the accident took place. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, Garrett was struck by a northwest bound Toyota Corolla. She consequently suffered fatal injuries, according to reports.
