According to official reports, Larry Morris, 76, of Trent was on his motorized scooter crossing the street at the intersection of Oak Street and 1st Street when he was struck by a pickup truck.
First responders arrived on the scene and found Morris with serious injuries and transported him to a local hospital where he would eventually be pronounced dead.
