La Salle County, TX — January 14, 2024, a Laredo man sustained injuries following a semi-truck accident at around 4:45 a.m. along Farm-to-Market 133.
According to officials, the crash took place on a stretch of F.M. 133 just off I-35 between Encinal and Cotulla, several miles north of Laredo.
Authorities said in their statements that a 31-year-old Laredo man was behind the wheel of an International semi-truck pulling a trailer eastbound down the roadway. For reasons which are not confirmed right now, the semi-truck lost control, leading to the truck going off the side of the road. There, the truck ultimately overturned.
Due to the crash, the truck driver was taken from the scene with injuries which were described as serious. There was no one else involved in the accident. Right now, additional details surrounding the cause of the crash are unavailable.
