Accident Report
Matagorda County, TX — May 26, 2026, Krystal Helmintoller was killed in a single-vehicle accident at about 11:15 p.m. on F.M. 521 near Cedar Lane.
A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 was heading southwest when it overturned after crashing into a guardrail near Cannon Lake.
Driver Krystal Hemintoller, 53, died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to the report.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Matagorda County crash at this time.
