How Did This Accident Occur?

Was this crash caused by a distracted driver? Or did the Hyundai have an issue with its brakes or steering mechanism? Or was it something else entirely? The only way to sort that out is with a full investigation, one that gathers facts from witness statements, evidence at the scene, data from the Hyundai’s engine control module and any available video of the crash. Cell phone records could show if the driver was texting or interacting with an app at the time of the crash, but if authorities suspect a mechanical issue contributed to the crash an independent expert may be needed to look over the car.

Each of these steps is necessary to provide the injured passenger and her family with much needed answers about what happened on Star Hollow Road. They deserve not to deal with lingering questions as she recovers from her injuries.
