Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

Something that stands out to me is how one person apparently had serious injuries while the other person wasn’t hurt. There could be a reasonable explanation for that authorities just didn’t include in their statements. Sometimes, though, a close look at the victim’s vehicle may show there was something wrong with it that led to the victim suffering what would otherwise be preventable injuries. As unusual as that is, it happens, and it’s not something authorities tend to look into. More thorough investigations could show there’s more to this story.
