Port Arthur, TX — August 9, 2026, Kimberly Viator was killed in a hit-and-run accident at about 9:40 p.m. on Gulfway Drive/State Highway 87.

Authorities said a pedestrian was hit by an eastbound 2014 Jeep Patriot near Duff Drive. The Jeep did not stop after the collision.

The pedestrian, 64-year-old Kimberly Kay Viator, died from injuries suffered in the crash, according to authorities.
