With single-vehicle accidents, people tend to think things will be simple just because one vehicle was involved. A lot of times, though, there can be complex contributing factors which even authorities may not handle properly. Were there issues with the road? Did the vehicle have any defects? Was the driver unlawfully over-served by an alcohol provider? Did a tire blow out? Was there another reckless driver who fled the scene? Did poor signage or lighting contribute to the accident? Likely or not, these things happen. If authorities aren’t able to get the whole story, then those affected by the crash may need to look elsewhere to fill in the blanks.
