Liberty County, TX — March 7, 2024, Kensy Smith was injured in a car accident at approximately 5:15 p.m. along County Road 5007.
According to authorities, 26-year-old Kensy Smith was traveling in an eastbound Toyota Camry on County Road 5007 at the County Road 5014 intersection when the accident occurred.
Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a southbound Audi neglected to yield the right of way from a stop sign on C.R. 5014, entering the intersection at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the driver side of the Camry and the front end of the Audi.
Smith incurred suspected severe injuries as a result of the accident. She was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
