Houston, TX — April 23, 2024, Kenneth Sparks and one other person were injured following a car accident at approximately 5:30 p.m. along Link Road.
According to authorities, 76-year-old Kenneth Sparks was traveling in an eastbound Ford Mustang along Link Road at the Karcher Street intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a southbound Hyundai Sonata occupied by a 22-year-old man on Karcher Street failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign, entering the intersection at an apparently unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front-end of the Mustang and the front-right side of the Sonata.
Sparks suffered suspected severe injuries as a result of the wreck, while the man from the Sonata sustained possibly minor injuries. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
