San Antonio, TX — April 1, 2025, Kenneth McKnight and one other person were killed due to a shooting that happened around 3:28 p.m. off Bandera Road.
According to preliminary statements, the incident happened at a business located off the corner of Bandera Road and N. Loop 1604 W.
Investigators claim that an argument occurred between an employee at the business and a customer. Police allege that the customer had a gun, and a second employee also had a gun. The altercation led to shots being fired, and the first employee and the customer reportedly died.
Right now, authorities identify Kenneth McKnight Jr. as a victim in the shooting. They did not specify McKnight’s involvement in the incident. The other victim has not yet been named. Right now, additional details are unavailable.

Clearly there’s a lot going on here that authorities need to sort through. It would be encouraging if this business had the foresight to have a security system which could help shed light on what all led to this incident. It may be necessary to pull that information as soon as possible, since many systems automatically delete footage after a certain period of time. Hopefully in all the chaos, authorities didn’t forget about that.
