Austin, TX — December 1, 2023, Kelvin Stewart was injured in a truck accident at 9:15 in the evening along west 35th street.
According to reports, an 18-wheeler allegedly stalled in the inside lane of eastbound West 35th street in the vicinity east of Jackson Avenue when the accident took place.
For reasons which are unclear, an eastbound Toyota Camry occupied by Kelvin Stewart failed to slow for the stalled vehicle. The Camry collided with the back end of the 18-wheeler as a result. Stewart—age 32—reportedly sustained suspected severe injuries as a result of the crash. He was transported to a local medical facility by emergency personnel in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries were reported.
The accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reported to have been clear and dry. There are not currently any additional details available pertaining to this incident.
