Statesville, NC — November 2, 2024, Keaton McGlamery was killed following a motorcycle versus logging truck accident sometime in the morning along S.H. 115.
According to authorities, 19-year-old Keaton McGlamery was traveling on a motorcycle on State Highway 115 in the vicinity of the Ella Kay Lane intersection when the accident took place.
Officials state that as the motorcycle was attempting to pass an 18-wheeler hauling a load of logs, it apparently collided with one of the logs that was sticking out past the end of the trailer. This led to McGlamery being thrown from the motorcycle. He suffered reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene.
