Searcy, AR — March 6, 2025, Kayla Allison and a child were injured as the result of a car accident at around 11:00 p.m. along Highway 13.
According to initial statements from officials, the incident occurred in the area of the Highway 16 and Highway 13 intersection.
Initial details indicated that 24-year-old Kayla Allison and a 3-year-old girl were in a Nissan Versa going northbound on Highway 16. Reports say that the vehicle lost control at Highway 13, and the vehicle ran off-road. There, it crashed into a tree.
As a result of the crash, both Kayla Allison and the girl in the Nissan were injured. Right now, additional details are unconfirmed as investigations continue.

I get a lot of calls from people about single-vehicle wrecks where they feel they weren’t taken seriously. Sometimes, authorities just have other priorities, and they don’t necessarily put the needs of people involved in a crash at the top of their list. This is why it can be helpful to consider some key questions after any accident.
Did investigators take the time and use the right tools to fully analyze the crash? A vehicle losing control could be influenced by road hazards, mechanical issues, or sudden evasive maneuvers. If authorities didn’t conduct a detailed reconstruction, they may have overlooked important details.
Did they check for potential vehicle defects? Brake failures, steering issues, or tire malfunctions could have contributed to the crash. Additionally, if airbags or seatbelts didn’t function properly, injuries may have been worse than necessary. Were investigators thorough in inspecting the vehicle?
Did they secure all available electronic evidence? The vehicle’s Engine Control Module (ECM) may contain key data on speed, braking, and steering inputs. GPS records, cellphone activity, and any available security or traffic camera footage could also provide valuable insight. Did authorities take steps to preserve this information before it was lost?
