How Did This Accident Occur?
Assuming authorities can prove the alleged drunk driver in this crash was intoxicated, investigators should look beyond the scene of the accident to determine where he had been drinking.
Under Texas law, an alcohol provider can be held accountable for any injuries caused by a patron who was served while obviously intoxicated. It’s not clear if the driver involved in this accident was drinking at a restaurant or bar, but the child’s family deserves to know everyone who may have played a role in this crash.
