Lynnwood, WA — July 30, 2026, Karen J. Kim was killed in a truck accident at about 4:30 a.m. on Pacific Highway/State Route 99.
Authorities said a 2017 Kawasaki EX300 motorcycle was hit by the trailer of a southbound 2024 Freightliner semi-truck as it entered the highway from 31st Avenue West.
Motorcyclist Karen J. Kim, 38, of Lynnwood was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to authorities.
The truck driver was not hurt, authorities said.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Snohomish County crash at this time.
