Alvin, TX — June 11, 2026, Kadin Oxsheer was killed in a suspected drunk driver accident on Bridgewood Road/County Road 949K.

Authorities said a man who had been sitting on the windowsill of a moving pickup fell out when the driver accelerated before crashing into a telephone pole.

The man, 18-year-old Pearland resident Kadin Lane Oxsheer, died from injuries suffered in the accident, according to authorities.

The pickup driver told police she had been drinking before the accident, according to news reports, but she is not facing criminal charges as prosecutors present the case to a grand jury.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Brazoria County crash at this time.
