Liberty County, TX — September 2, 2024, Justin Mora was injured as the result of a car accident at around 11:49 p.m. along F.M. 1008.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened off the corner of F.M. 1008 and F.M. 2797.
Investigators said that 19-year-old Justin Estrada Mora was in a Chevy Camaro going southbound on F.M. 1008. The vehicle somehow drifted off-road for some distance before crashing into a pole. As a result, Mora sustained serious injuries.
There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the accident. The cause of the crash remains unconfirmed.

I have concerns anytime I see a crash involving a teen driver. They’re not always taken seriously, and folks sometimes jump to conclusions without actually considering what the evidence says. It is true that teen drivers are more likely to make mistakes, and maybe that happened here. But I don’t make hasty assumptions about a crash, regardless of a driver’s age. It’s best to let the evidence speak for itself. Did authorities ensure to do that here, or did they happen to jump to conclusions without hearing the victim’s side of the story?
