Harker Heights, TX — May 24, 2023, Justin Duffy was fatally injured due to a work accident at around 3:45 p.m. along Fox Trotter Court.
According to details released by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the incident happened during excavation work.
It appears that 34-year-old Justin Duffy was operating an excavator at the time and lowered the rear blade and front bucket of the machine. Somehow, the excavator tipped forward, ejecting Duffy in the process. Duffy ended up beneath the overturned investigator, ultimately causing fatal injuries.
