Hale County, TX — October 24, 2025, Julie Bryant and Tristian Bueno were killed due to a car accident late Friday on US Highway 70.
Investigators said that the incident took place outside of Glenwood. 57-year-old Julie Bryant was in a Ford Edge going eastbound. 29-year-old Tristian Bueno was in a BMW going westbound. Authorities say that the BMW crossed left of center, and it collided with the Ford.
Due to the collision, both Julie Bryant and Tristian Bueno were fatally injured. There did not appear to be any other injuries involved. No further information is currently available.

One of the challenges with car accidents people rarely consider is that not all of them get equally thorough accident reconstructions. That can vary from department to department, as officers may not be given the time and resources they need for a proper accident investigation. As such, it can be helpful for families to follow up early on after a serious crash.
If it seems like authorities are looking into all possible factors—even unusual ones—then that may be a sign they took the investigations seriously. If all of their answers come up short, though, the accident may need another look from experienced independent professionals.
