Moore County, TX — June 21, 2024, Juan Salazar was injured following a single-vehicle motorcycle accident at approximately 9:30 p.m. along 8th Street.
According to authorities, 31-year-old Juan Salazar was traveling on a westbound Harley-Davidson motorcycle on 8th Street in the vicinity east of the Maddox Avenue intersection when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the motorcycle was unable to properly modulate its speed. As the brakes were hit, Salazar was reportedly thrown over the handlebars. He suffered apparently serious injuries as a result of the wreck. Emergency Medical Services transported him to a local medical facility so he could receive necessary treatment. No other vehicles were involved in the wreck.
