Taylor County, TX — October 28, 2024, One person is dead following a single vehicle accident at around 7:10 A.M. on I-20.
According to official reports, Joshua Williams, 44, of Abilene, was driving in the East-bound lanes of Interstate 20 when for unknown reasons the vehicle lost control and collided with a guard rail. This then caused the vehicle to roll multiple timed during which Williams was ejected from the vehicle.
First responders declared Williams to be deceased at the scene, and at this time alcohol is not believed to be a factor. A passenger was also in the vehicle at the time of the accident, however they only suffered minor injuries and were evaluated at a nearby hospital.
