Lubbock, TX — September 28, 2024, Joshua Bustos Jr. was killed due to a hit-and-run accident at around 1:00 a.m. along Spur 327.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened in the 3900 block of Spur 327 between Loop 289 and U.S. 62.
Investigators said that 22-year-old Joshua Bustos Jr. was on a motorcycle which was going along Spur 327. Authorities say that a vehicle struck and killed Bustos, though it’s said Bustos may have been thrown from the motorcycle beforehand. That other vehicle then reportedly left the scene. Right now, additional details are unavailable.

Hopefully authorities are able to release more information about what exactly happened here. Runaway drivers are generally more likely to be located when the public is able to come forward and offer whatever they may know. Once that happens, steps can be taken to see that driver held accountable, and authorities can get some answers about why they fled the scene in the first place.
