How Did This Accident Occur?

I certainly don’t know more about this crash than what’s been reported. Two oncoming vehicles colliding usually means someone made a turn they shouldn’t have. Some folks reading about this might automatically assume it was the teenage driver due to their lack of experience. Others might assume the motorcyclist did something wrong because a lot of people just think all motorcyclists are reckless. In my experience, this sort of thinking never helps anyone. What does help people is focusing on the facts. Investigators should consider all possible factors regardless of someone’s age or the type of vehicle they’re operating. That way, no sort of bias will get in the way, and those affected by the crash can be sure their side of the story will be told fairly. Hopefully that will happen here.
