Rankin County, MS — June 10, 2024, Joseph Cook was killed and another person was injured in a truck accident at approximately 7:30 a.m. along U.S. Highway 49.
According to authorities, 26-year-old Joseph Cook and one other person were traveling in a northbound Dodge Ram pickup truck on U.S. 49 in the vicinity of Star Road when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the pickup truck was involved in a collision with an 18-wheeler. Cook suffered reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the wreck and was declared deceased at the scene.
