Denton County, TX — April 21, 2024, Joseph Carillo was injured following a motorcycle versus car accident at about 5:15 p.m. along Eldorado Parkway.
According to authorities, 20-year-old Joseph Carillo was traveling on a westbound Suzuki motorcycle on Eldorado Parkway in the vicinity of the Briar Ridge Road intersection when the accident took place.
The motorcycle was reportedly in the far left lane behind a Chevy Blazer SUV. Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, the Chevy came to a stop in the active lane of the roadway. This led to a collision between the front-end of the motorcycle and the back-right of the SUV. The collision caused the motorcycle to veer to the right where it was involved in a secondary collision with the left side of a Jeep that had been traveling westbound in the middle lane.
Carillo suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
