San Antonio, TX — December 21, 2023, Jose Roberto Marceleno was killed following a truck accident at around 2:20 a.m. on U.S. Highway 90.
Authorities said in preliminary statements that the collision occurred in the area of the U.S. 90 and S.W. 36th Street intersection.
According to officials, 43-year-old Jose Marceleno was in a Honda Accord going along westbound lanes of the highway. Ahead, there was a work convoy which was reportedly going well under the speed limit. Authorities did not say if the vehicles had flashing lights or other markings. Marceleno’s vehicle crashed into the back of one of the convoy vehicles.
Due to the collision, Marceleno sustained fatal injuries. There did not appear to be any other injuries. At this time, additional details about the crash are unavailable.
