Houston, TX — January 10, 2024, Jose Luis Segura and one other person were injured following a car accident at 11:30 p.m. on the East Freeway.
Preliminary information about the accident says that it happened along the I-10 service road in the area of Oates Road.
According to officials, 22-year-old Jose Luis Segura and an 18-year-old woman were in a Chevy Silverado going westbound along the interstate. Segura’s vehicle was going to the right toward the ramp for Loop 610, but the vehicle somehow hit the left side guardrail on the ramp. This led to the vehicle going back to the right where it crashed into a concrete support pillar.
Due to the collision, Segura had reportedly serious injuries. The woman riding in the vehicle with Segura reportedly had moderate injuries. Right now, additional details regarding the accident are unavailable pending investigations.
