Grand Prairie, TX — May 4, 2024, Jose Ambriz Mangana was injured as the result of a hit-and-run accident which happened around 11:47 p.m. on Crossland Boulevard.

Authorities said in preliminary statements that the accident happened in the area of the West Crossland Boulevard and Pinoak Drive intersection.

According to officials, 35-year-old Jose Ambriz Mangana was on foot along eastbound Crossland Boulevard. While there, a vehicle struck Jose Ambriz Mangana. That vehicle then left the scene. Jose Ambriz Mangana was reportedly seriously injured.

Authorities only described the vehicle as a red 4-door car. Additional details are unavailable.

It’s unclear if authorities ever found the driver involved here. Even a long time after an accident, though, keeping details in the public eye can yield results. Someone may be able to connect dots authorities couldn’t (assuming they haven’t already). That’s why one of the best things anyone can do after a hit-and-run is to keep up the pressure. Eventually, there may be new information that helps ensure there’s accountability for the accident.
