Montgomery County, TX — October 17, 2023, Jose Adrian Gutierrez was injured following a car accident at around 2:15 a.m. along Old Houston Road.
According to officials, the incident happened in the area of the Old Houston Road and Payne Road intersection.
Officials stated that 22-year-old Jose Adrian Gutierrez was in a Honda Civic which was going southbound on Old Houston Road. For reasons unconfirmed right now, the vehicle left the roadway to the right, then crashed into a tree. Gutierrez was taken from the scene with reportedly serious injuries. No one else appeared to have been involved.

The lack of information available here this long after the crash could be a red flag. To be clear, authorities may have been thorough in their investigations and just never released more information publicly. But it’s staggering how many calls our firm gets from victims and families who only ever hear about as much information from authorities as what little I’m seeing here.
The unfortunate reality is authorities have a lot to do and only so many resources and personnel to go around. This tends to mean that things like single-vehicle accidents don’t make the cut, and it can leave victims and families left wondering who’s going to tell their side of the story if the authorities aren’t. Again, I can only hope authorities here didn’t leave anyone out in the wind with unanswered questions.
