Dallas, TX — August 27, 2023, Jorge Barrera and one other person were injured due to a car accident at around 5:41 a.m. along North Buckner.
Authorities made preliminary details about the crash publicly available, saying the accident occurred off the corner of North Buckner Boulevard and Peavy Road.
According to officials, 33-year-old Jorge Barrera was a passenger in a BMW car going northwest along Buckner. The vehicle apparently made contact with the curb, then lost control and crashed in the area off-road between the Buckner and Peavy split. There, the vehicle crashed into a business.
As a result of the accident, Barrera and the driver of the vehicle had injuries described as serious. There were no other passengers mentioned by authorities. The cause of the crash can’t be confirmed right now.
