Houston, TX — March 27, 2024, a man was killed following a pedestrian versus car accident at approximately 7:30 a.m. along Westheimer Road.
According to authorities, a male pedestrian was attempting to cross Westheimer Road from north to south in the vicinity of the Sage Road intersection when the accident took place.

The causal factors that led to the accident are still unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the pedestrian was struck by an eastbound motor vehicle. The collision led to the pedestrian being thrown into a second vehicle which had been at a stop at the intersection, as well. The person(s) in the first vehicle reportedly left the scene but returned shortly after in order to cooperate with the investigation.
Good Samaritans apparently performed CPR on the victim until emergency personnel arrived on scene. The man, having incurred critical injuries as a result of the incident, was rushed to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive immediate treatment. However, he was ultimately unable to overcome the severity of his injuries, having later been declared deceased.
