Additional details can’t be confirmed right now, though some may not think that’s important. Aren’t rear-end collisions always the fault of the rear driver? That’s probably the most common misconception people ask me about. Let me give an example of why this belief is so ludicrous.
There was a case a while back where a father and his kid died after their vehicle hit the back of an 18-wheeler. People probably blamed the man for that, but weeks later it was revealed that the 18-wheeler had cut into the lanes of travel from the shoulder without turning its trailer lights on. would any reasonable legal system blame the victim there just because they happened to be in the rear vehicle? Of course not, that would be ridiculous.
Now, that’s not to say I know who or what is responsible for this crash. Rear-end collisions are indeed often the result of the rear driver doing something wrong. Maybe that happened here, or maybe it didn’t The point is that people were seriously hurt here, and it’s best to simply gather as much evidence as possible so it can speak for itself.
