Johnathan White, 2 Injured in Car Accident in Lockhart, TX

Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, a northbound Nissan Rogue occupied by a 33-year-old man and a 7-year-old boy—which was allegedly traveling at high speeds—failed to appropriately control its speed; this resulted in a rear-end collision with the northbound Ford Fiesta. The Fiesta continued it’s northward trajectory on the highway, colliding with the right side of a northbound Chevrolet van before veering to the right and off of the roadway where it crashed into a telephone pole before coming to a stop at the Rosewood intersection.

White and both occupants of the Rogue sustained reportedly severe injuries due to the wreck; they were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
