A common issue with fatal work accidents in Texas is people think there’s an automatic process for getting a resolution for the families. In reality, that process is more like a legal maze. There isn’t always a guarantee of benefits or answers, and an OSHA report often just scratches the surface of what families need to know in order to explore their options thoroughly. So if steps were taken here beyond the OSHA investigations to get answers for the victim’s loved ones, that would be good to hear. If not, that could mean that important information wasn’t given the attention it really needed.
