El Paso, TX — December 6, 2025, Jessica Contreras and two others were injured following a car accident at around 11:53 p.m. along Loop 375.
Investigators said that the crash took place between Pan American Drive and Alameda Drive.
According to officials, 33-year-old Jessica Contreras was in a GMC Sierra going eastbound along Loop 375. A Dodge Charger going the same direction reportedly failed to control speed, crashing into the Sierra.
Due to the accident, Jessica Contreras was seriously injured. Contreras’s passenger and the driver of the Dodge were injured, as well. No further information is available at this time.

With someone being blamed for the crash, things may seem rather open-and-shut. But knowing what happened and knowing why it happened are two different things. The latter often requires a more thorough understanding of the evidence, and that includes ruling out possible road hazards or vehicle defects, for example. When people are harmed in a crash, they need as much evidence telling their side of the story as possible. If there are gaps in the story, that’s an opportunity for someone to muddy the waters and shift the blame. So if it seems like authorities aren’t getting the whole story here, there may need to be more thorough independent investigations to make sure nothing important slipped through the cracks.
