A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2026 Kia sedan alleged failed to yield from a stop sign on New Highland Road and collided with an eastbound 2016 Nissan Altima.
Nissan driver Jessica Burch, 29, and a 9-year-old boy were seriously injured in the crash, according to the report. A 4-year-old girl was listed as possibly injured.
