Hardeeville, SC — December 14, 2023, Jesse Burnett was killed in a truck accident at approximately 6:00 in the evening along U.S. 17.
According to authorities, 34-year-old Jesse Burnett, of Bluffton, was traveling in a southbound Audi on U.S. 17 in the vicinity of Speedway Boulevard when the accident took place.
The Audi allegedly collided with the rear-end of an 18-wheeler for as yet unknown reasons. Burnett reportedly sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash; he was declared deceased at the scene. There were no other injuries reported in connection with this incident.
The cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were not reported on. There are not currently any additional details available.
