Anderson County, TX — February 20, 2024, Jennifer Sam and one other person were injured in a car accident just after 4:45 p.m. along Loop 256.
According to authorities, two women ages 58 and 36 were traveling in a northbound Ford Escape on Avenue B at the West Oak Street intersection when the accident occurred.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the Ford failed to yield the right of way to West Oak Street traffic, entering the intersection at an unsafe time. This resulted in a collision between the front left of the Ford and the front right of an eastbound Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck occupied by 36-year-old Jennifer Sam.
Sam incurred suspected severe injuries, while the 36-year-old from the Ford sustained apparently moderate injuries. Both were transported to local medical facilities by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
