Lake George, NY — January 5, 2024, Jeanne Colin was killed and 13 others were injured in a tour bus accident at approximately 1:00 p.m. along Interstate 87.
According to authorities, a tour bus containing 23 people was traveling southbound on Interstate 87 along the Adirondack Northway in the vicinity of Lake George when the accident took place.
The causal factors that led to the rollover accident are still unclear. It has been confirmed, however, that 74-year-old Canadian Jeanne Colin incurred fatal injuries in the crash, having been declared deceased. One other passenger sustained injuries severe enough to merit being flown to an area hospital for immediate treatment. Twelve other passengers were taken to local medical facilities for treatment of suspected minor injuries.
