Hill County, TX — April 16, 2024, Jazmen Estrada was killed and one other was injured following an ATV accident around 10:51 a.m. along County Road 4323.
Investigators said in preliminary statements that the crash happened near Private Road 423, north of Carl’s Corner outside of Hillsboro.
According to officials, 19-year-old Jazmen Alejandra Estrada was a passenger on a Polaris ATV going along CR 4323. In circumstances not confirmed, the vehicle lost control and crashed along the side of the road.
Due to the crash, Jazmen Estrada was killed. The driver of the ATV was injured. Further information about the accident is unavailable.

Single-vehicle accidents don’t always get the attention they deserve, and an unusual crash like an ATV accident could present additional challenges unless investigators are well-equipped and experienced enough to handle those challenges. Sometimes, authorities have the time and tools they need, and they’re able to address all of a family’s concerns and questions. If they were unable to do so here, though, there could be more to the story that never got the attention it deserved.
