Lafayette County, WI — April 30, 2026, Jaykub Anderson was killed in a truck accident at about 5:30 a.m. on State Highway 81 west of Argyle.
Authorities said a 2012 Peterbilt milk delivery truck was heading west when it left the road and crashed into an abandoned quarry. The milk tank broke off as the truck overturned and dropped to the quarry floor.
Truck driver Jaykub E. Anderson, 32, of Mineral Point died in the crash, according to authorities.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the Lafayette County crash at this time.
How Did This Accident Occur?
It’s not clear at this point what caused this milk truck to leave the road. Was the driver distracted, perhaps by a cell phone? Did another vehicle force the truck off the road?
