Harris County, TX — May 31, 2024, Jay Kotlan was injured following a car accident shortly before 10:15 a.m. along State Highway 249.
According to authorities, 54-year-old Jay Kotlan was traveling in a westbound Toyota Corolla in a parking lot near the intersection of S.H. 249 and Theiss Lane when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision occurred between the Corolla and a southbound Toyota Rav4 in the parking lot. It unclear, at this point, which vehicle was at fault in the wreck. Kotlan suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the crash; he was transported to a local medical facility for treatment. No other injuries have been reported.
