How Did This Accident Occur?
Crashes that happen when one vehicle is turning usually hinge on which vehicle had the right of way. Authorities should be able to sort that out in short order with this West Odessa crash, but that may not explain why this accident happened.
Maybe this crash was the result of someone running a red light, but what if that happened because of a medical issue? Or if one of these vehicles had an issue with its throttle or brakes? Investigators should consider these scenarios as the pore over physical evidence, witness statements, data from the vehicles and available video footage of the crash. Outside experts may be needed to diagnose medical or mechanical issues, but these efforts should provide answers to any lingering questions the injured driver and his family may have about this crash.
